Blustery days can be brilliant for helping your clean shirts and blouses to dry quicker and crease-free on hangers outdoors, but the hangers can slide down the line or be blown off onto the ground – or worse, into next door’s garden. These simple yet ingenious Hook Ups solve that problem once and for all. Simply hook both ends over your washing line or rotary airer where they’ll stay in place even if it is a bit gusty, then put your hangers through the notched holes. Job done.

With Lakeland Hook-Ups in place, clothes can be hung sideways-on, so you can fit a dozen shirts into the space of two or three pegged out in the old-fashioned way, and they also leave plenty of room around each item so it can dry efficiently.

This is just a simple product but so useful. Put shirts or dresses on hangers use this on the line and presto reduced ironing with no drying lines on the clothes.
I am using this not only for trousers but for other items I don't want to peg over the line leaving crease marks when dry.
These fit snugly on the washing line and don't slide. They hold a hanger so you can get far more clothes on the line than you would without them. My last hanger hook ups were breaking, but they were at least 10 years old. The best hangers to use on them are those that don't swivel at the top, so your clothes stay separated.
I usually use pegs to hold coat hangers on the washing line, but it means using all my 'big' pegs, so thought I would give these a try. Very simple idea, and works really well. I pop them onto the front of my dotty sheep peg bag and at this point, anything that makes life easier is a good thing.
I wish I had brought it earlier helps to keep top good looking
