"Best thing since sliced bread" star star star star star I am so happy I purchased two of these rotary driers. I used to have one permanently outdoors until it snapped. I decided to purchase the folding type and instead of standing in the rain trying to grab the washing before it gets wet, I now just open the patio doors and bring the whole thing inside in a jiffy. I am able to get a full 8kg wash onto it too. Highly recommended.
"So frustrated with this" star star star_border star_border star_border I wish I hadn't bought it. It's so light that if you hang anything heavy like jeans on it, it tips over. It also blows over so I have to peg it to the grass every time I use it, and fortunately I have a rubber mallet, because I can't push the pegs into the ground. I don't know how anyone would manage if they only had a hard surface to stand it on. It's also easy to nip your fingers when putting up/ taking down, as you try to maintain the tension on the pole while squeezing the catch. Unlike a washing line, sheets etc have to be folded to fit, so they don't dry. I need a proper washing line. support_agent A note from the team Thank you for your review. "I like it but it blows down all the time" star star_border star_border star_border star_border As per my title, I like this portable outdoor line but it blows down all the time! I have another washing line but it’s not big enough as busy house! I saw this and was very excited but unfortunately even though I distribute the clothes evenly it just blows down with any wind. I can’t say I would recommend for this reason as pretty much not fit for purpose described. support_agent A note from the team Thank you for your review. "Fantastic but ........." star star star star star_border What a fantastic rotary airer. Lightweight, easy to put up & down (I think the previous review can't have done it properly), easily fits a full load & I am overall really pleased with it. But - the frame is very lightweight,I don't have any grass to anchor it to the ground with the pegs provided so it sits on my patio - herein lies the problem. On a breezy day, with a full load of washing out, it blows over! I had to spend more money, invested in some weight saddle bags which I filled with sand & now have these placed over each leg. Costly but it's done the trick & no more re-washing!
"Rotary Airer" star star_border star_border star_border star_border Delighted to spot this online and duels ordered it. However, I am extremely disappointed with the product. It is. Impossible for me to put up by myself and one else I managed to put it up ( with help from two 25 year olds) I failed to put it down again without trapping my knuckles in it and then being unable to remove the flipping thing from my hand! Quite the comedy moment you imagine but it was extremely painful until the said two 25 year olds removed it for me! The legs should be locked in place and secured first so your hands are free to slot the top unit into the base - wait until it clicks into place before carefully removing the strap around the arms.
