Our buyer, Lisa, loves this Leifheit Pop-Up Airer. She can’t persuade her husband to have a permanent rotary airer in their garden, so this ingenious little airer is the ideal compromise. It pops up easily, can be used indoors and out, and has a generous 14 metres of drying space. So far, so fab. But there’s more.

Convenient one-handed operation

Needing only one hand to open and close it, simply push the top handle down to open it and lock it into place, and pull up the green collar to close. Standing firm on its four legs so there’s no danger of it toppling over (but do avoid gustier days if you’re using it outside!), this lightweight and portable compact airer is just the right 95cm height to load comfortably without stretching and is ideal if you don’t have the room for an always-there rotary airer.

Once you've folded all your dry laundry away, simply release the catch with one hand, lift the airer at the same time, and the arms will fold up.

Generous drying space

Providing 14 metres of useful drying space (which is approx. 1-2 full wash loads depending ont the size of your washing machine), with plenty of room between the slightly sloping rungs, it's ideal as an extra airer when you’ve got a larger load to get dry - and just the thing for smaller homes too - you can use it to hang all your shirts, shorts, skirts or baby clothes.

Indoors and outdoors

Perfect for a conservatory, landing, bedroom, bathroon, garage or even on the balcony and in the garden on still days – you can move it around to follow the sun or bring it in if the weather changes. It’s also great for camping and caravanning and it comes with a drawstring bag for easy, compact storage and clean lines.

Space-saving storage

With only 12cm wide when folded, this Leifheit airer can be easily stored in a cupboard, under the stairs or in a small gap between your furniture so you can keep it hidden at all times.
