This is one of the best products I have ever bought. It keeps bread fresh for nearly a week - even bread that has been made in a breadmaker (i.e. preservative-free). I was very sceptical due to the holes in the side as I always believed that bread should be kept airtight but it is absolutely fantastic. I recommend it to everyone! Buy one now!!
I agree with the other 2 people I am ordering my 3rd Bread Keeper in 2/3 years, I bake my own bread and I would also like to order the bread slicer only as I donot acually use the bread keeper only the bread slicer, I use my slicer everyweek to cut the bread I make for the freezer, I donot wash it in the dishwasher I hand wash it, I cannot do without this item that is why I am ordered again and Lakeland are the only company that I have found that make this product. No other problems with other Lakeland products.

This product is simply brilliant! I've had my breadmaker for nearly a year now and found it awfully difficult to keep fresh and an even worse nightmare to cut ... I've tired various products on the market but believe me when I say, this is the best!It's easy to use, easy to clean and cuts the perfect size slices! And as your loaf gets smaller and smaller, so too does the Bread Keeper!SIMPLY BRILLIANT!Thank you once again Lakeland!
I don't know how I managed without this. First one delivered had obviously been bashed, but in true Lakeland style, a replacement was with me next day. This fits nicely into my cupboard and keeps the bread nice and fresh (not that it has much time to go off). There is no danger of the bread being squashed. Not sure if a large sized loaf from the breadmaker would fit - it may not be tall enough?Very easy to clean. I have not been using the cutting guide as I am concerned about damaging the plastic. However, that is not a big issue.
Very happy with bread keeper apart from as others before me have said the plastic slicing part is too flimsy and snaps after a few uses. I would be delighted if one could be made of metalso that it would last, perhaps a wire one would be of some use.
