Activated Charcoal Filter Refills have been designed for use with your Lomi Kitchen Countertop Food Recycler, the revolutionary odour-free and mess-free way to keep your food waste out of landfill.

Activated Charcoal Refill

For optimal performance, the activated charcoal in your Lomi should be replaced every 3 months. Once replaced the fresh charcoal will prevent unwanted food smells while the Lomi works hard to break down your food waste.

How to Replace Your Activated Charcoal

Changing Filters

• The change filter light will illuminate every 3-6 months depending upon your usage.
• Unplug the unit before replacing the filters' activated charcoal.

Back Filter

• Open the back panel of the unit and remove the rectangular filter box.
• Twist the wing nuts off to open the filter box and dispose of the used activated charcoal.
• Pour the new activated charcoal into the filter box.
• Twist the wing nuts back on and place the rectangular filter box back in the unit.
• Shut the back panel of the unit.

Top Filter

• Open the lid, remove the cylindrical filter, and twist off the top.
• Dispose of the used activated charcoal and pour in the new activated charcoal into the cylindrical filter.
• Twist the top back on and insert the cylindrical filter back into Lomi.
• Plug Lomi in.
