"Needs the lightest touch"

I intended to write a review which agreed with those who complained about how hard this dehumidifier was to turn on. I had had the same experience and was deeply frustrated, sometimes spending minutes getting it to start - or turn off. However, I went back to the product description and looked at the short video. This shows the slightest touch being used to start it. I tried again, gave the power button a featherlight tap and on it came! Wonderful! I have since done it several times and so can confirm that it really does need only the lightest of touches. It works extremely well.

We are really thrilled with our new Lakeland Dehumidifier, it is working very well and doesn’t use much electricity. It took a few minutes to get used to the on / off button but is now quite easy. Simple to empty the tank when water builds up. It looks smart and not too big, we would recommend this product to everyone.
