Lakeland Handheld Mattress Vacuum with UV Light

I have now hoovered my mattress a few times and done two more for relatives. At first glance, it seemed like nothing had collected in the dust collector but once I dismantled it, a good tablespoon of dust and fluff-like stuff came out of the filter, even after a few goes! I found it easy to use, although understandable requires some patience in slowly pulling it across the mattress. I also found the dust collector unit nearly impossible to remove when I first got it, but I used a little silicone spray and it's slid out beautifully ever since. The cable is also generously long too. Impressive!

I really found this mattress vacuum excellent. Even though you think your mattress seems really clean I was very surptised and impressed with the amount of dust it manages to pick up due to the vibration aspect of the vacuum. Highly recommend.

Even if you use mattress protectors when you change bedding skin cells and hair do end up on the mattress. Easily held device and the uv light will hopefully destroy microorganisms. I use this on family beds and on my holiday let mattresses to hopefully keep my mattresses fresh for many years.

My mattress is 3 years old and I vacuum it when I change the bed and my sofas are under 18th months old and are vacuumed weekly...so I was not expecting to get much off them. There were a few fibres in the dust collection box so not much, as I expected...until I removed the filters to clean them and saw just how much dust etc it had removed. Wow, that was quite shocking! Very pleased with this product and it is easy to use and easy to clean the filters. I also bought 2 spare filters.
