ShowerShroom Hair Stopper

I bought this for our guest bathroom. It fits perfectly into the shower drain, is flush to the shower tray and so doesn’t get in the way (even though the drain is in the centre of the tray and therefore difficult to avoid). It looks much smarter than our original drain cover. The only reason for my 4 not 5 stars is that our daughters-in-law, who have long hair, haven’t used it yet so it hasn’t been tried it out properly - it definitely seems as though it will work well though.

Says it fits any shower but there is a gap so it doesn't work.

Absolutely delighted with this, not only does it catch hair, our shower drains better so we don’t get a build up of scum. Result!!

After looking in lots of different shops for a drain stopper Lakeland seemed to be the shop to stock what we needed. This product looks great states it fits any standard shower which ours is but unfortunately doesn’t fit. There is a gap which continues to let the hair through. Our nearest shop is over 10 miles away so unable to return it for quite awhile. It’s an expensive product for something that won’t fit. Very disappointed as never had a bad product from Lakeland.

I spend quite some time reading reviews for this product on Lakeland. It looked just what we needed with girls with long hair and contact battles to pull up their hair. (I avoid a large Marketplace Company for ethical reasons so wasn't aware that many other options are available - i trust Lakeland to have researched the very best products). However the narrow silicone ring fails to sit flat on our shower tray. This is as much the 'fault' of our shower tray as the product it self - but having cut open the package to attempt to put the Shroom in place I now have a useless item and have wasted my money.
