The only thing I did was spray the cleaner directly on the sofa I found this worked better than spraying the cloth. No horrible smell and the conditioner didn’t make it slippy like polish does
Complete Leather Furniture Care Cleaning Kit 5 "It Really Does Clean" Helen 19 March 2016 I have previously used wipes (not the Lakeland ones) to clean my leather sofas, and they do exactly that. They wipe. But over time, there were some ugly dark patches appearing at head height on the back cushions; I assumed oil and grease from hair products. With, low expectations, I started to apply the cleaner. I followed the instructions carefully and wiped again with a clean, damp cloth. WOW!!! All the dark was just lifting off as easily as anything. Once I'd applied the conditioner, the sofas were back to new. I am absolutely delighted with the wonderful job this does!
Complete Leather Furniture Care Cleaning Kit 5 "Best Ever Leather Kit" Mrs Humphries 14 December 2015 Just wanted to say that Lakeland have done it again and produced yet another excellent product. Have tried other leather cleaners / kits (including those that were recommended by the manufacturer), and none have compared to the kit I purchased from Lakeland. Not only does it clean better than the others I have tried - it also leaves an excellent finish which lasts. And incase anyone thinks it may only be suitable for certain coloured leather furniture I have used it on both my black leather reclining chairs and a cream leather three piece suite.
