From the area around Agen in south-west France, the part of Europe where prunes first became popular, these Pruneaux D'Agen Fourrés delicacies are inspired by 16th century recipes, refined by modern methods.
Whole prunes are stoned, then gently hand-filled with a smooth prune cream for an exquisite flavour sensation that’s quite unlike anything you’ll ever have tried before.
Plump and juicy, they’ll make a wonderfully sweet treat with coffee after dinner or a much appreciated birthday or Christmas gift.

Have purchased these for years and they remain my go to Christmas sweetmeat. Richly satisfying and best eaten sparingly, I always look at Lakeland’s list with some trepidation but you have let me down yet.
If you like prunes , as I do , you will love these . The soft creamy filling is so delicious. They are soft , sticky and full of flavour . I was worried that they would be too sweet when I saw that they contained sugar but in my opinion they are the perfect prune . I would rather have these than a box of chocolates.
Friend who received it said best present of all and would be disappointed not to receive again thus year!
We have friends in the area of France these prunes come from and we’re delighted to find this product available through Lakeland. Whilst not cheap they are absolutely delicious and a firm Christmas favourite in our home.
Love these had them for a number of years a hidden secret we look forward to them at xmas the filling is very different always on our list
