Only used bread mixes so far but is making delicious bread.
Purchased this as I was looking for a breadmaker, This one is neat and very easy to use,I have already made a few loaves, which have turned out really well even a packet one I tried. My only gripe is when removing the bread pan from the machine the handle does seem very flimsy and worry it could break, apart from that overall very pleased with it.I have had others over time but feel this is well worth the money especially with 20 per cent of.Plus it fits very well on the worktop, can certainly recommend.
Good, clear instruction booklet with helpful info and recipes to get started. Went off piste with first go & made a sticky gingerbread from another recipe booklet - turned out beautifully - light yet moist and perfectly cooked. Now on sundried tomato bread - not baked yet but smelling so delicious and rise looks good. Going to work my way through the recipe book & looking forward to having homebaked bread, cakes, jams and yoghurts. Cannot compare to other bread makers but would definitely recommend as a first bread maker - reasonably priced, well constructed & easy to clean.
We already had the 1lb cream Lakeland breadmaker but wanted a bigger one. We have been really pleased with this machine. It is easy to use and the instruction booklet very easy to follow. What we don't understand is the smaller machine instructions advise 1 teaspoon of caster sugar, the new machine, for the same size loaf, advises 4 tablespoons of brown sugar. The loaf is much too sweet and wonder if this is a mistake? There is also no mention of milk powder in the new instructions? Obviously we have adjusted the recipe. Would recommend this machine.
Thank you for your review. We're sorry to hear of the confusion with the recipes included in the instruction book. We've recently updated these and they're now showing on our online instruction book. We hope you'll continue to enjoy using the machine.
