Lakeland Nesting Lidded Bowls

Bought about 9 months ago these rather than glass as the recipient has a habit of breaking bowls. As a set they are really useful (good for marinating) and good sizes. However, as others have said, the rubber base does not stay in place; they have become detached when washing by hand or in the dishwasher. When trying to replace, they seem to have stretched and are too big. In addition, unless the lids are lined up with absolute precision, they cannot be stored with the lids in place so the lids have ended up loose in the back of the cupboard.

I was a bit unsure as to whether to order these given a few bad reviews. They arrived quickly and well packaged but one of the lids was slightly warped. I contacted Lakeland and they were immediately replaced and arrived really quickly. Haven’t used them yet but they are lovely and the fact they stack and have lids, together with the pouring lip, will I’m sure be a great addition to the kitchen. I love the feel of these bowls and they are a great size. However, the rubber ring continually falls off and is so frustrating to try and replace. I intend to return these bowls back to our local shop.

The black nonslip base is not fit for purpose. Continually falls off. Tried sticking it with glue as advised in store but that was useless. Bowls now slip on work surface. The non- slip element should be an integral part of the bowl. Really disappointed as the product is otherwise great and just what I wanted.
