Lakeland Non-Slip Pastry Mat

Bought one of these donkey's years ago. Tbf the one I have is still operational, but has developed several little cuts in it recently, which I am assuming are due to age and being knocked about whilst rolled up in the cupboard (I never use it as a 'cutting board' per se, but obviously do use things like cookie cutters on it. Anyway, it has done sterling service for at least 20 years, so roughly £1 a year is great value.

How have I managed all these years without one??? This is such a useful addition to the kitchen. Tested it yesterday when making a loaf of bread & it was a joy to use when kneading. Stores easily rolled up in a cupboard and another Lakeland that will get enormous use. Looking forward to rolling out pastry without all the guesswork as to size.

This is a replacement for one bought many years ago, also from Lakeland. It is such a useful thing to have in the kitchen. We use it for bread kneading and making pastry.. It’s guidelines are so helpful and it makes the job so much easier. It keeps the ‘mess’ in one place and is very easy to clean. It is well worth the money. I hope (and expect) this mat to last many years too, especially if l don’t accidentally cut it which is why my original one needs to be retired.

This is such a useful addition to my kitchen kit. So far, I've used it to prep scones, biscuits and bread rolls. I put it on my counter top and all the mess is confined to the mat. The guides and outlines make quick work of measuring. Love it!

A really useful piece of kit on baking day. Good size, super handy measurement marks and stays gripped to the counter when working. When finished, just wash, dry and roll up for next time. A great purchase.
