These look good enough to eat and very festive. Although, they are quite heavy, a stiff royal icing (or rolled fondant) should hold up alright. But the bottoms are glued to sticky pads to secure them into the packaging. It is almost impossible to pick off. I’ll persevere but this type of packaging really puts me off buying anything similar.

I’ve had 2 sets of these delivered now and both times could not get off “sticky pads” holding the houses within the packaging. Tried soaking and scraping off with knife to no avail.l. Would not buy again unless they changed the packaging and did not stick the pads on the bottom of the houses and put them in a different box.
