What you get in the set
- Face and large muzzle cutter – with 3 face shapes for everything from shaggy schnauzers to jowly bulldogs and lean-faced wolfhounds, and 2 heart-shaped muzzle cutters.
- Small muzzle and ear cutter – a range of 8 cutters to create 3 smaller muzzles and 5 ear shapes.
- Information leaflet – includes step-by-step instructions to make a French bulldog; extra tips about faces, muzzles and ears; and suggestions of how to finish off your dog design with eyes, noses, mouths and tongues.
- Design any dog With so many shapes available, you can create pretty much any breed from Afghan hounds to Yorkshire terriers (we can’t think of any dog breeds beginning with ‘Z’!). And if the shape you want doesn’t exactly match one of the cutters, you can always cut out the closest one, then use one of the other cutters to trim away parts until it’s perfect. Plus you can layer up more than one muzzle for shaggy dogs, bend the ears over, and cut or hand roll little bits of icing to give the finishing touches to your design. And of course, you don’t have to be keen on canines yourself – everyone knows someone who’s potty about pooches and would love to receive a batch of bakes featuring their favourite breed.
Quick and easy to use
Made from food-grade plastic with sharp but smooth cutting edges, every one of the shapes easily cuts and releases fondant icing or modelling paste with no dragging or tearing. Step-by-step instructions guide you through the example of a French bulldog, and the cutter can be popped in the dishwasher for easy clean-up when your decorating’s done.
Perfect partners
For the best results, try using Renshaw’s wide range of icing and sugar pastes, which come in a selection of dog face-friendly colours including grey, brown, black, white, red and pink. Attach layers of paste or icing with a little edible glue using food safe brushes, and to add more detail try using an icing scribe tool or edible decorating pens.
