Zenker Glass Fibre Silicone 2lb Loaf Pan
Product number: 32225
Once you’ve baked bread in the Glass Fibre Silicone Loaf Pan, you’ll never go back to your traditional bakeware. With quicker cooking times and excellent heat distribution, not only can you enjoy your loaf sooner, but it will be baked to perfection with a golden-all-round crust and a satisfying crunch worthy of the finest bakery.
Revolutionary design
Soggy based apple pies, anaemic loaves and your lovingly prepared quiche stuck to the side of the dish… You can wave goodbye to all of these common baking mishaps with Glass Fibre Silicone Bakeware. A true revolution in baking, they combine the benefits of traditional baking pans with lightweight, superior non-stick silicone. Wondering what makes them so different? Each pan is made from a unique glass fibre micro-perforated web material that’s then coated in silicone, the combination of which results in faster, more even baking, crisper crusts, and an incredibly easy release.
Professional results for home bakers
The next generation in silicone bakeware technology, its micro-perforated glass fibre web allows moisture to be released effectively during baking, resulting in a crisper finish whilst reducing cracks and bubbles on the crust of your bakes, so not only will they taste delicious, they’ll look great too.
Heats up 3 times faster than traditional silicone
The superior heat transfer of the thin webbing allows the pan to heat up 3 times faster than normal silicone bakeware, resulting in a faster cooking time, saving energy and hungry tummies! We recommend keeping an eye on your bakes the first time you try a new recipe, reducing your baking time by around 20%.
Quick to cool down
The glass fibre silicone cools down two times faster than your average bakeware, meaning you can release your bakes sooner with no worry of burnt fingers and it also means you can get it washed and put away quicker too, keeping your work surfaces clear.
Flexible yet sturdy
Combining the flexibility of traditional silicone with a sturdy, patented nylon rim and glass fibre webbing makes this extraordinary range more stable and robust than your average silicone bakeware, helping your bakes keep their shape and avoiding any messy disasters!
Superior non-stick
Silicone has long been hailed for its non-stick prowess, eliminating the need for oiling your tin for healthier cooking and the need for parchment linings, saving you money too. The silicone ensures nothing sticks and your bakes slip out with ease – simply press down the handles and out pop your cakes! Alternatively, push them up from the bottom, as the super-flexible base can be pushed inside out.
Loved by Wendy
Only the very best products make it through our selection process, which is why our Customer Ambassador Wendy took this range home so she could test them out herself. The result? She loved them! “I baked an apple pie and the pastry turned out perfectly – not a soggy base in sight! It was really evenly cooked and I was so impressed with the crust – it looked professional!” Wendy’s favourite feature? “I couldn’t believe how easy it was to release, I just pushed both handles down and lifted my pie out with no breakages. I loved how you could simply push down the edge to see if the pie was cooked enough, and if it needs a bit longer, it pops straight back up, ready to go back into the oven.”
BPA, PFOA and PTFE free.
Oven safe to 200°C and dishwasher safe for easy cleaning.
Please note: not suitable for cake mixtures (but perfect for bread dough!).

Bought this in store today with trepidation as not what I went for. Tried it when I got home and I must say on first use I am very impressed by it. Lovely loaf of bread and very easy to turn out.
I have been intrigued by this range & needed more bread tins so bought three. The loaves have baked beautifully but the bases have deep ridges from the oven shelves - will have to use on a baking tray in future!
The bread bakes well, does not stick and the pan is easy to clean. however it is too shallow for a 2lb loaf - when the dough proves it spills over the sides so we get a shallow loaf with great overhangs on either side. I have tried several different recipes but they all come out the same.
Thank you for placing your review. We're sorry you're finding them a little small and we'll be in touch.
Am I doing something wrong? I’m using this to make cakes but the mixture escapes during cooking and spills onto the tray underneath. I have to say, the resulting cakes are nicely baked and easy to get out of the tin - but very thin!!
We'd advise that this isn't really suitable for sponge cakes as the mixture will be too thin. They're more for mixture of a dough type consistency.
I regularly batch bake bread using this pan alongside my trusty collection of Lakeland's own brand silicone loaf pans. Even though the dough is exactly the same for all the pans, the bread in the Zenker pan never rises as well or turns out as light as the other loaves. I wonder if the perforations mean that the outside crisps up so fast that the 'innards' don't have a chance to expand. I really wish Lakeland would bring back the old type of pans - to me, they are unbeatable.
We're sorry this didn't work well for you.
