Twice as strong as steel, its hard anodised aluminium body is built to last, with a dense oxide layer that resists scratches, wear and corrosion. The premium non-stick coating means you can cook with less oil and enjoy easy food release and quick clean-up afterwards, making it perfect for everyday meals as well as weekend batch cooking.
Thanks to its excellent heat conductivity, everything cooks evenly from edge to edge, giving tender, delicious results every time. You can use it on any hob, including induction, and it's oven safe up to 230°C (ideal for recipes that start on the hob and finish in the oven for that extra depth of flavour).
The clear glass lid lets you keep an eye on your cooking without lifting it and releasing heat, and the generous 5.7-litre capacity is perfect for family portions or leftovers for the next day (because some dishes really do taste even better second time round). I looked all over for a really good quality stockpot and found one!! Why didn’t I look at Lakeland first? Who knows, but it’s worth noting that though not the cheapest, it’s not the most expensive either, so really good value for money and more importantly it’s a really good pan.
I wanted a pan than I could use both on the hob and in the oven and this fits the bill. It is perfect for soups, stocks and batch cooking. For a couple I'm finding it a little bit large for every day casseroles but it would definitely suit a family. I love the well fitting glass lid to view what's cooking and the non stick surface makes washing it up a dream. It is a good, solid pan which should give me years of service. Well done Lakeland.

I chose this large pan as I do a lot of batch cooking which I freeze in handy one size portions. It’s very light and cleans well. I wanted to be able to start the cooking on the hob and then transfer it to the oven - one pan, less washing up! This pan fits the bill perfectly and my first casserole was a great success. The non stick surface makes frying easy and the glass lid is handy to see what’s happening during cooking. Highly recommend this great pan.
