Lakeland 3-Portion Freeze Pod

I cook nutritious meals for my parent. These pods give me real confidence when filling them and transferring them to the freezer, as they feel sturdy and completely leak-proof. Once frozen, the portions are easy to pop out and store in a Lakeland freezer bag, which helps save valuable freezer space. I also love that the pods can go straight from the freezer into the microwave for both defrosting and reheating. I’ve stored Tomato soup, Chilli Beef, Shepherd’s pie and Apple crumble. I simply love that the pods are red in colour, as they disguise food staining. They‘re great quality and value!

Having made a quantity of beef casserole we used this to freeze some of the extra. Having defrosted it, it was then reheated in the oven, still in the container. It was very stable thanks to the metal edge. It washed very well in the dishwasher too. Next time we might do what has been done by a previous reviewer - popping it out once frozen to store in a bag to free up for other use. A very useful product.

This freeze pod is really useful and easy to use. The three sections are a great size for freezing sauces, soups, or small portions. It’s sturdy, stores neatly in the freezer, and the portions come out easily. Simple and practical — would definitely recommend.
