Giving you more time to eat your fruit when you want to, not when you have to, our StayFresh Sheets can extend the shelf life of fresh fruit and veg by up to 50%. Whether you're stocking up during your supermarket shop or reaping the rewards of growing your own, they'll keep your green groceries fresh for longer, reduce food waste, and save you money.

Simply place a sheet in your fruit bowl, fridge or StayFresh Produce keeper and it will absorb excess ethylene gases for up to 90 days. You can also cut them in half to use in punnets of berries – and as they last so long you can reuse each sheet; just move it to your next punnet after youv've finished one.

How do they work?

As fruit ripens, it releases a natural gas called ethylene. Excess ethylene in the air around your fruit can cause it to ripen prematurely – leading to unnecessary food waste.

Our StayFresh Sheets use RYPENv's patented ethylene capturing technology to trap only the aging gases (and none of the good stuff it needs to stay at its best) that fruit emits as part of its natural life cycle, to help slow down the ripening process.

The effects of ethylene

Some fruits produce more ethylene than others, and some are more sensitive to its effects. Bananas are ‘super emittersv' whereas kiwis are more likely to be affected by it and ripen too quickly. And wev've all gone through the struggle of catching avocados at just the right moment – ethylene is the reason why! It can also affect fruit with stalks and stems, like grapes and cherries.
