Let's face it, colanders take up a lot of room in the cupboards. When they were first invented (hundreds of years ago!), we weren't quite as space-savvy as we are now. These days, we like things that do their job, while taking up as little room as possible - which is where the Lakeland Clip-on Pot Strainer comes in.
With stainless steel clips to attach to the inside of your pots and pans, it helps you to strain liquids away from boiled foods without taking up so much storage space. Made from heat resistant silicone (up to 220°C) it's more than capable of straining boiled veg and pasta straight from the saucepan, and with an easy-pour spout, it makes sure hot liquids are channelled directly into where you are pouring them.

I purchased this as trying to hold a saucepan in one hand and a strainer in the other often led to food loss! This little item is absolutely brilliant and fits all my pans and frying pans effortlessly. Sturdy enough to stay in place and flexible enough to fit from the smallest to the largest of my pans. Very highly recommended.
Use it for a pan I use regularly that does not have a good draining option and it works really well, plus less washing up than a full colander
I am amazed that it fits any pan, having arthritic hands it was becoming difficult to drain vegetable etc, this makes it much safer for me to drain boiling water away from my pans.

This pot strainer makes it so much easier and safer to remove boiling water from vegetables, pasta etc. The flexible silicone means it will fit big and small pans and it is easy to attach. I was a bit worried things like spaghetti would escape from the edge, but it doesn’t.
