"Love it!" star star star star star I have finally found an egg poacher that works and is easy to use. Just 2 teaspoons of water per egg, prick the egg yolk and white, and you get poached eggs in less than a minute. Easy to clean and the holes to drain the water are brilliant. I have had no problem with eggs cooking unevenly, as per another review. The instructions do say to put egg poacher on the outer edge of the turntable (normally, one puts items in the middle) so perhaps that caused the uneven cooking? Anyway, I love my egg poacher.
"Great little poacher" star star star star star_border Great little poacher, I have arthritis everywhere, and this is so light and easy to use. The timings on the instructions are not quite right. My advice would be to time it once until is done to your satisfaction, and keep to those timings.
"Good idea" star star star star_border star_border As this item was used in a microwave I thought I'd try it out as much easier and safer than using hot water to cook poached eggs. The design is good but the eggs longer to cook than it said in instructions which meant putting the poacher in and of of the microwave until the eggs were cooked. The white around the yolk took longer to cook than the rest. The easy drainage of the water put in to cook the eggs was a good idea.
"Disappointing" star star_border star_border star_border star_border This review is for an older version of this product A good idea but very disappointing results. After numerous attempts cannot get the yolk runny and the white cooked. Have tried different timings and microwave settings, eggs straight from the fridge and at room temperature but still doesn't cook evenly. Total waste of money. support_agent A note from the team We’re very sorry to hear this if you bought it from one of our stores, then you can simply return it and they will be happy to help you. Please don’t forget to take your proof of purchase. We recommend starting with a 1-minute cook time and then checking in 10-second increments. Some people see better results by starting with hot water and then pouring the egg, while others do it the other way around. In some cases, it works out better with a little water, while others find success with as much water as the cavities can take. We understand that it can be frustrating to go through a trial-and-error process, but once you find the right method, it can make a big difference
""Egg Poacher?"" star star_border star_border star_border star_border I thought this might be the answer to poached eggs, not a chance, religiously prepared and cooked following the instructions exactly, timing and microwave power controlled as suggested but either the eggs stick or come out with runny whites and hard yolks, given up! I am returning it tomorrow, if no refund it will be the charity shops gain. support_agent A note from the team Thanks for taking the time to give us your feedback. It can take a bit of trial and error. We recommend starting with a 1-minute cook time and then checking in 10-second increments. You could also try adding hot water. I'll be in touch shortly to help.
