"Very useful item" star star star star star Very useful for cracking and removing egg shells and then slicing the egg
"Brilliant" star star star star star I saw this in the Belfast store yesterday; expensive but it looked good. The purchase was timely as, today, I put a dozen eggs in to pickle and by far the hardest part of that job is shelling the eggs; I always manage to break chunks of white off one or more of them. Today I tried the Eggler to crack and peel; it worked exactly as shown in the video and I had my dozen eggs all cleanly shelled in a couple of minutes. It doesn't look as though it will work, but it really does. I haven't tried the egg slicer; I'm sure it will work but I think the slices might be a tad too thin for my taste

The egg slicer does not slice properly, the cover is hard to replace easily and the egg peeler is far too thick to insert between the egg and the shell. I hard-boiled 2 eggs, tried the eggler on the first one (fiddly and unsuccessful), so cracked shell of 2nd egg & peeled it the “old fashioned way”, then used my old egg slicer which sliced the egg cleanly and in one go.
