Lakeland Helping Hands Garlic Rocker
Product number: 27221
Garlic is one of the most versatile ingredients in the kitchen, but we all know preparing it can be a fiddly and messy process. The Lakeland Garlic Rocker makes chopping and mincing your garlic a breeze - simply place your clove under the mesh section, and rock it back and forth until you achieve the desired texture for your dish. The ergonomic design makes it easy to use, and thanks to the scraper included with your rocker, it's also quick to clean by hand - or just pop it in the dishwasher after use.

Garlic crushing is the Bain of my life. This is the best hack I’ve used yet.
This is easy to use and very easy to clean. Best garlic crusher I have ever had.
As a very long-standing customer with Lakeland, I am disappointed with this product especially for the money. Whilst comfortable to hold the garlic needs releasing from the grooves after each rocking movement. Not the most efficient garlic crusher. With arthritic hands I hoped this would do the job.
I had high hopes for this product but, sadly, it is no good for me. The splines are not sharp enough to efficiently chop garlic, or anything else for that matter. The groove cleaning tool is a good idea and the shape of the handle is comfortable to use but the item is useless for the task it is sold for. I will go back to chopping with a knife.
Thanks for taking the time to write your review. I'm sorry to hear that it hadn't worked well for you. The spines don’t need to be incredibly sharp as you use some of your weight to push down on the clove rather than relying on the spines alone to cut the clove. The cleaning tool is moulded exactly to fit the spines to help remove the crushed garlic. We'd suggest you run the rocker over the clove, scrap the garlic off and repeat as needed until you get the texture you need. I'll be in touch shortly to help.
