"Soup maker " star star star star star Very easy to use, set up and clean afterwards. It has a quick programme - soup in 30 minutes! The kettle is quite 'steamy' when in use, so I recommend siting it underneath your hood extractor. 1.3l max capacity makes enough soup for 6 yet the kettle is not too large so stores easily in a cupboard.
"Sauté Soupmaker" star star star star star I found the soup maker easy to use. First attempt was Vegetable Soup which was really good and tastier than our usual tinned variety. Next up was a favourite of mine Leek and Potato again another success. Having noted earlier reviews I used it under our cooker hood so the whole process was steam free. Very pleased with the soup maker support_agent A note from the team This review has been written by a myLakeland club member who received a free product sample from us, along with a request for their honest opinion, good or bad, because our customers' feedback is invaluable to us in building our range.
"Great Soup Maker!" star star star star star Bought this as my xmas present from husband as even better was in the xmas sale :) so very happy with it, quick and easy to get soup made from scratch, highly recommended.
"Quick but noisy" star star star star star_border This product certainly did the job of making a batch of piping hot soup for 3/4 people quickly. It was quite noisy and produced a lot of steam , so next time I will not plug it in under a wall cabinet. Easy to use and intuitive display and operating buttons. Instructions are clear however the booklet only included a few recipes for soup that were not the most inspiring or encouraging, and no recipes for the drinks mode. Good audible warning sound to let you know when soup is ready. Means that you don't have to stay in the kitchen whilst soup making. A useful addition to the kitchen.
"Soup great, other functions not so much" star star star star star_border I have loved using this soup maker. It makes soup making really quickly. There’s a bit of trial and error e.g. use the sauté function to make sure onions etc. are properly cooked. However, I cannot make the blend function work. I follow the instructions, the correct lights are visible, but no blending happens. This is annoying when you want to add herbs etc. at the end of cooking. I’ve had to resort to using my hand blender, which defeats the object somewhat. Also, why not have the max/min markers on the inside of the jug too? So much easier not to overfill it if the line is right there. support_agent A note from the team thanks for your feedback. we'll make sure that your comments are passed onto our buying team
