CRIMPiT Press for Toasted Sandwiches

Product number: 27045

So what does The Crimpit do? Well, it crimps! Its little teeth around the edges crimp the edges of your thin sandwich bread together to form a sealed, bready parcel that you can pop in your toaster, air fryer, grill or oven to make a tasty snack-sized toastie.

Crimp up your toastie

Designed to work with thin sandwich slices, it's super-easy to use: Just place a slice of bread in the base of The Crimpit (slices that come in 10cm square work best), add your favourite fillings (sweet or savoury), put your second slice of bread on top followed by the lid then give it a good squeeze. Once crimped together, remove the lid and take your sandwich out of the base, then you can either eat it as it is without the filling spilling out everywhere (we're looking at you, grated cheese) or transform it into a toastie in your toaster.

Small and compact

Perfect for those with smaller kitchens, students, or anyone who wants a new way to enjoy those smaller slices of bread, there's no need for any extra gadgets or machines to clutter up your cupboards or worktops. The Crimpit uses what you already have in the kitchen to make toasted sandwiches and is a hand-sized tool that lives in your drawer, taking up hardly any space.

Please note: The Crimpit is not suitable for heating, so always remove your crimped sandwich from it before grilling your snack. Happily though, The Crimpit can go in your dishwasher for easy cleaning.

"Not Impressed"

star star star_border star_border star_border

I used my CRIMPIT for the first time today and I have to say I was not impressed. I used the Warburtons Thins as suggested, but they are too big for the CRIMPIT press. There is not much room for filling the sandwiches, especially as you have to leave space around the edges. It appeared that the toasted sandwiches were sealed, but in the toaster the seal opened up in several places and the cheese, which was my filling, along with ham, didn't melt at all. I feel this purchase was a waste of money.

support_agent A note from the team

Thanks for your review. We’re sorry to hear of your disappointment. We’d advise using bread that’s 10cm square to get the best possible results.

"Neat and tidy"

"Excellent product."

This product is good, well made and sturdy. Providing you follow the instructions and use thinly sliced bread, it provides excellent toasted sandwiches. I would highly recommend it.

"No more leaky toasties"

This is a good idea but a shame it isn’t a bit bigger to deal with standard bread slices.

"Not as good as I thought"

I used Warburtons thins but contrary to films I've seen, I couldn't get much filling in.
