Lakeland Yellow Banana Bag

Bought this to replace a very well worn old banana bag. Bananas keep much longer. The peel can go very discoloured, but the fruit is fine.

I already have a banana bag, I have bought another as a present for my neighbours. Only given 3 stars as I wish it could be washed not just wiped and I wish the lining would stay in place. I have put stitches to hold it, surely the manufacturer could do that. But it does the job of keeping the bananas fresh. The new type bag is brilliant, thank you Lakeland!!

so pleased I tried this Bag it really does work, kept my bunch of bananas for 3 weeks perfect I even left the last one a further few days before using, yes the skin had started to go brown but the banana was fine thank you

I had one of these from Lakeland years ago and it’s brilliant. The bananas stay so fresh so so long. I’ve kept them for 3 weeks in the bag in the fridge and the bananas are still firm and white inside. Magic

I have to say that the banana bag absolutely works. I did a test with some green bananas which were left in the fruit bowl on the worksurface and at the same time I put some yellow bananas into our banana bag in the fridge. A week later, I fancied banana on its own-I usually have it with custard or Weetabix! Peel and reveal….. The one in the fruit bowl looked superior, the one in the banana bag looked brown, but when I peeled both the banana bag Was the clear winner! The banana in the banana bag tasted lovely and had retained its furnace and was also creamy coloured on the inside.
