SodaStream Pepsi Max Sparkling Drink Mix 440ml

Thank you for inviting me to review this product along with the Sodastream Terra. I have to say Pepsi is not a soft drink normally found in my trolley when I go shopping, so this mixer was a totally new experience for me. I liked the taste, not too sweet or sugary, and adding it to the carbonated water was a convenient way of making the drink but, to be honest, I much prefer adding fruit cordials to my sparkling water instead.

We didn’t find this tasted quite as good as the pre bottled pepsi max. It is ok and we enjoyed it but just felt it wasn’t quite as tasty. Having said that, we do love the fact we can make it easily on demand and are wasting less plastic! We preferred 7up but it might just take a bit of experimenting to find perfect mix with Pepsi max as it is quite sweet.

I was really surprised when trying this as I did not think it would taste like the real thing - but it did. There are two lines you can fill to. In my view you do not need a full cap as this made it very sweet and also means the bottle will last for many more uses. Would definitely recommend.

Wasn't sure what to expect - I'm very fussy about my Pepsi :) But this is Good Stuff. Tastes like the ones that comes ready made and I now carry a bottle of this around with me. In fact, it's so tasty that my sister now only uses this after trying it at mine :) She loves the max cherry too, but I like my plain old max :) Definitely worth giving it a shot, and my plastic recycling bag is much much smaller these days :)

As a bit of a Pepsi Max addict I had high expectations of this. I must admit it took a bit of getting used to, but after finally working out which ‘dose’ worked for me (about 2/3 of the recommended amount) I’m quite enjoying it. The huge reduction of plastic bottles coming through my home is a bonus too!
