Stretch-to-fit silicone top locks in flavour
The silicone ‘trampoline’ on the top half of the pod expands to stretch over the top of your avocado – just gently pull apart the two parts to release the clips and open, pop your avocado cut side down (you’ll have to remove the stone first!) on the solid green plastic base, then replace the top part and press them closed.
Freezer and dishwasher safe
Reusable and safe to put in the freezer, it’s also dishwasher safe for easy clean-up.BPA-free.

The pod closed firmly and seemed airtight, but the avocado was brown on the cut surface after less than 24 hours. Exactly the same result as if I had placed it face down on a plate or in a storage box, my normal method of storing a cut avocado.

Love this product. No need to waste left over avocado because it has gone brown and soft, plus you don't feel you need to eat the whole avocado in one sitting
No problem opening and closing item but did not keep avocado fresh at all. Very disappointing. Strange how it works for some and not others. Maybe the seal is not airtight on some or it is dependant upon the size of avocado filling the air void?

I thought this looked an excellent idea, but it really is no good for a standard-sized avocado. I use a third of an average-sized one every day (half if it's small), but this just doesn't have the capacity for a medium-sized avocado. It just 'pops' open and I have to keep it shut with an elastic band. I bought the square stretch silicone pod at the same time which is much better because the lid is clipped on on all four sides, so the lid just isn't going to go anywhere. Great idea, but lacking in design.
