Small but mighty, our Kettle Protector is a little stainless steel mesh ball that will help save on energy bills and prolong the life of your kettle by trapping limescale ‘fur’ on its coils.
Limescale build-up is not just nasty to look at, it can shorten the life of the element inside an electric kettle and, if it starts to create layers inside the kettle walls, even a stovetop kettle will take longer to boil.
Our Kettle Protector works by sitting inside the kettle and attracting limescale towards it, rather than the element or edges of your kettle. Pop it in and rest assured, your kettle would thank you if it could.

Have used these for years - as thye really do keep limescale to a minimum inside the kettle - have bought them for use in our work kettle and for my sister who lives in a really hard water area and they worked for her too.

Such good value and really works. I have been disappointed with other products that claim to deal with limescale, but this is so simple and I can see the improvement. We live in a very hard water area and this helps a lot. Very easy to clean too, you just take it out and give it a squeeze.
