Small but mighty, our Kettle Protector is a little stainless steel mesh ball that will help save on energy bills and prolong the life of your kettle by trapping limescale ‘fur’ on its coils.
Limescale build-up is not just nasty to look at, it can shorten the life of the element inside an electric kettle and, if it starts to create layers inside the kettle walls, even a stovetop kettle will take longer to boil.

These are very useful items of kit. They help keep the kettle from furring up with limescale. They do get a bit full of limescale after a year or two !

Sadly this did not work at all in my kettle and I have had to continue using descaling sachets regularly.

It lives up to it,s name, it certainly is protecting my Lakeland kettle, I reside in a very hard water area and was always having to descale my kettle but with the protector I do not have to do that anymore,thank you Lakeland Protector.
