Under-Door Draught Excluder

I have tried all sorts of excluders and have been disappointed with them all. Our house is Victorian so the doors are wider. This fits perfectly, stays in place and I could not be happier at the results - no draughts. It's light, it's easy to wash and does exactly what you want one for. To add to it, the dog can't pick it up and run off with it!! If your door was not quite as wide, it would not be that difficult to alter as the rolls are only polystyrene. Very happy indeed with my purchase.

These are light and easy to fit and allow the door to slide open easily, something my own draught excluders were failing to do. However, they are not quite long enough and there is too much of a gap at one end of the door base, enough to allow some large creepy-crawlies through (MY main fear) or a goodly breeze. Another inch would solve the problem. Also, the width of the fabric that fits beneath the door begins to stretch, after a time, making the whole 'sausage' very loose. Something like this needs to be quite well-fitted, I have found. Maybe corduroy is not the best choice of fabric?

I really like the idea of this draught excluder and it works to a point, but it has some faults. Firstly, it's slightly too long, so I can't close the door (the door is a standard size, only a couple of years old). It's also very light, so doesn't keep the (now slightly open) door in place and it swings open. Lastly, the ends are open, so the foam roll inside is not only visible and unsightly but also keep popping out of the fabric. Simple closed ends would have made this product so much better, as would different lengths. Disappointing.

The product did not fit the doors. Its too big, I think its not for normal size doors. I do not recommend this product.

So happy when I saw these as have a couple of draughty doors. Sadly they are too big for my doors that are normal size.Any chance of normal size door ones please
