These Compostable Bin Liners are sturdy paper bags that are ideal for collecting compostable kitchen scraps destined for your outdoor compost bin. All natural and fully biodegradable, the paper is impressively strong even if it gets damp.
The paper used to make these countertop compost bin liners is made from the leftover trimmings and wood pulp from the Swedish timber industry, ensuring that not even the tiniest bit of wood is wasted. For each tree harvested, the Swedish timber industry plants another four to ensure their environmentally friendly credentials.
Helping collect all of your compostable waste, these bags have a generous 10 litre capacity.

Got these bags to use with Brabantia bin which normally hangs on inside of cupboard door but I have it on side of my island!! They work and fit brilliant.
Our council will not allow us to use plastic compost bags and was hating wrapping my food waste in newspaper everytime. So whilst shopping in the derby store i was directed to these and they are great. I did take to council and are fine to use. Although there is no funky container for putting these in mine is in a old tub under the sink. My neighbour has me buying her lot now and my mum has asked for some aswell on my next visit. Please could we have a funky bin for us younger'ish ones.
These bags are self-standing when opened. I took the removable lid off my caddy and placed it up-side-down in the cupboard under the sink to catch any leakage. I now sit the bag on it. When it is 1/2 or 3/4 full I just clip the top of the bag with a staple and dump it. I then wipe the lid with a paper towel and sit a new bag on it.
These bags are excellent for compost/food scraps recycling. They are tough and the paper is thick enough to cope with most average contents.
I had been using a caddy which took up quite a lot of space, and often got mouldy and messy inside. I am now using these bags, without a caddy (as many other reviewers have also said). I have yet to have a bag leak whilst on the side in the kitchen and it is so easy and mess-free to simply put the entire bag into the outdoor compost bin when full.
