Lakeland Slimline Kitchen Waste Pedal Bin - Silver 20L

I am about to order yet another of these bins, the third one in ten years. Like so many of your other reviewers, I have found this to be the only bin that fits in the space in my kitchen, so am prepared to order a new one, admire it when it comes, and after a couple of months swear every time I go to use it. The one I am about to replace has had a broken pedal mechanism for at least two years but last night I went to use it, lifted the lid up (foot pedal doesn't work) and it came off in my hands. However, I have been a Lakeland customer for many years and will continue to be so.

This is a great slimline bin which seems to fit loads of rubbish in it. It fits in my kitchen perfectly and is slim enough to fit in a small gap in the kitchen. I am very happy with it indeed !

I purchased the Slimline Kitchen Waste Pedal Bin is it was the only one I have been able to find that is tall and slim. The disappointment for me is that the plastic top is rather flimsy and when you put your foot on the pedal the bin goes flying - unless of course it's against a wall. So perfect for size but disappointed with other qualities.

As many reviewers, I bought this bin for my kitchen. As it is small, it fits perfectly. However, after few months use, I had issue with the lid and the pedal mechanism and it broke. I bought the bin a second time and it did exactly the same. At this price, I would have expected the bin to last much more longer....

Like other reviewers, I bought this bin for a compact kitchen. The size and shape are perfect, however after a few months the lid stopped closing properly, and now after only a year the lid has snapped off completely.
