Spider Catcher Vacuum Insect Catcher

Product number: 20455

Remove spiders from your home without harming them with the Katcha Bug Buster.

This spider and insect vacuum gives you the ability (and the bravery) to remove the creatures safely, just point the trap, press the button, and the battery-operated vacuum will gently capture the spider or insect.

This clever tool requires no smelly sprays or poisons that could harm pets, instead it allows you to humanely catch the bugs and release them safely without harm - and all at an arms length away!

This handy spider catcher can also capture wasps and flies, and picks up those home invaders, woodlice.

9V battery incl.

60cm (23¼”) L.

Bought for my daughter who’s moved to her own place and hates creepy crawlers.!! She’s used it a couple of times, success.!! So serving it’s purpose.!! Could be a bit more powerful.

"Great gadget"

I bought this for my daughter as she hates spiders & always shouts me to catch them using my glass over spider & sliding in card! Well this is so much easier so I’m now using it. My only criticism is that you have to shake the spider out as the motor only sucks it up but doesn’t blow it out. It’s a shame but still a good item to have

"Works really well!"

I don't like spiders at all, but with this I can catch really large spiders while remaining at a safe distance. It's also useful for insects like flies or clothes moths. The suction is so strong the creatures can't escape - switch it on before approaching the creature, otherwise it may run away before you start sucking. I'd like to suggest one small improvement - the tube needs a blow function as well as a vacuum. Once the creature is inside, it can be quite difficult to shake it out again.

"Not just for spiders!"

I get a lot of those very spindly spiders ("cellar spiders") which I tolerate up to a point, but their untidy webs can be a nuisance. This gadget is gentle but effective and can suck them out of high corners without harming them. Like other reviewers, I also find the spider-catcher helpful for flies and so forth which can't find the open window!

I can't deal with spiders normally but this makes them easy! Just turn it on and edge it towards the victim. Sometimes you may need to give the spider a little push with the plastic end, but then in it goes. I keep the device on until I've got the plastic stopper in place so they don't try to escape. I've also used it with flies, gnats and moths too. The only downside is that the creatures often don't want to come out of the tube once I detach it outside. Shame there isn't a reverse feature to blow them out. It's a very handy device though!
