Brought this the other day in the sale and baked a Madiera cake mix in it then put chocolate shells and chocolate flakes for flags. They loved it.

This mould exceeded our expectations for my 3 year old granddaughters birthday. Not very large in itself, we placed it on a seashore of iced batch-cake (roasting pan) and it worked very well as George the Monkey had a day at the beach! Used a Lakeland Boil-a-Bag with a bit snipped off to fill the mould, first greasing it lightly with a paint brush dipped in melted lard. Just fill the mould to about an inch below the top to allow for rising.... We ended up using the trial cake to stick cake pops in!
