Seashell Silicone Icing Mould

Bear in mind that these shells will be TINY: maximum of 1" x ½" / approx 2.5 x 1.25cm. Yes, the web page gives the measurement of the whole mould, but I didn't take it in, and from the picture, expected something much larger. I used melted chocolate (as I have done in other silicone moulds) - 3 squares were more than enough - and it worked OK, though at least 3 of the "shells" just looked like brown blobs. A good idea, but I consider this item to be poor value for money.

Big fan of Lakeland but don't really understand why this mould was made so small. Not very useful as it's so tiny. Could have made the same thing but with more repeats, also the 'coral' part which isn't a shell doesn't like like anything in particular. :(

I wish I had looked at the reviews, this item is absolutely minute, I was expecting a larger mould for the money, now I understand why this item is being discontinued, poor show to actually try and get rid of stock when it should clearly be removed altogether.
