I made these cakes and didn't intend to ice them but it was difficult to see the detail when they were 'bare'. I pushed a layer of rolled black icing into the moulds and then placed them on top of the cakes. They still didn't look as good as I'd hoped so I sprayed them with edible silver shimmer spray. Perfect!
