"Not a lot of taste to this marzipan folks"

Used this stuff on a Christmas cake recently. Must say easy to place on the cake and use, however, when it came to eat the cake family members said there was not a lot of taste with the marzipan. and I must agree. They also felt it far too thin. Perhaps a thicker version ought to be considered!

I bought a couple of packets to cover 2 Christmas cakes for family. I didn't taste it before I put it on. It has no taste and I couldn't tell you what is tastes like, but it's not marzipan. It is so easy to roll into the cake though, but not worth it for the taste. I've got 2 cakes left to make. I'll buy another shop bought brand that tastes better as I'm lazy. Can't believe it's spoiled my cake.

We're very sorry that you didn't like this. Please be assured that Renshaw use a mix of Californian and European almonds to make their marzipan and it contains 25% almonds. It’s the same recipe that they’ve used for many years.

Make 20 cm Christmas cakes and this makes putting the marzipan on effortless. Great flavour and superb quality too. Only criticism is that is could be slightly thicker, but otherwise brilliant

I found this ready rolled marzipan very easy to use. It covers an 8 inch cake well. I will buy it again.
