One Handed Locking System
Unlike many other models, these have a one-handed lid-locking system with nothing to line up – simply place the lid on the stainless steel pan, press the button and hey presto, it’s locked! Once the cooker has reached full pressure, an indicator pops up so you can start your timings, and two pressure settings – low and high – cater for all the dishes you can think of.
Pressure Release Valve
Our pressure cookers are equipped with a pressure release valve which lets you release steam before removing the lid if you want to add more ingredients or just check on progress. And we love the additional glass lid, which means it can be used like a normal pan on the hob for browning or in the oven as a stockpot.
Suitable For All Hobs
To give you the greatest versatility and usability, our pressure cookers have been developed to work on all hob types, including induction. The pan and glass lid are also oven safe up to 180°C. Please note: pressure cooking lids not suitable for oven use.

Purchased the above to replace my old pressure cooker and a really pleased with it, lovely product. The only problem I have is that I cannot remove the valve for cleaning, have noted that the instruction book says turn it anti-clockwise whereas it should be clockwise, but still haven’t been able to remove the same.
Having previously owned a pressure cooker 30 or more years ago it was always difficult to get the right amount of steam coming out of the top and even harder when I changed from gas to a ceramic hob. I was forever adjusting the flame or dial and worried that it would "blow-up"! Took a chance on this one based on reviews and a Which recommendation and went for it. Used for my Christmas puddings and risotto so far and perfect. Wondering why I didn't buy one before!
As good as this pressure cooker is, please be aware that to clean the pressure control valve you have to turn the cover CLOCKWISE, NOT anti-clockwise as it states in the instructions (page 22)- even the online instruction manual! Very disappointing and frustrating.

I have used a pressure cooker for the past 42 years and this is my third one. I bought it to replace my previous Prestige version as it just wouldn't keep the pressure. I did a lot of research and decided on this Lakeland pressure cooker and it is absolutely brilliant and so easy to use. If you're thinking of getting one then you most definitely won't be disappointed.
This 3L pressure cooker is heaps big enough for 2 people. Very easy to use.
