Lakeland Lidded Glass Milk Bottle 250ml

I’ve had these for at least five years and they are excellent. I’ve found they’re great for drinks and all sorts of leftovers. You can store leftover fizzy drinks for a day or two with a lightly scrunched piece of kitchen roll in the top. The wide necks make them very easy to clean or to get bits of lemon or ice in and out. However my last lid has now rusted beyond hygienic use, so I’ve gone from being able to use one of my four bottles to being able to use none. I’ve ordered some cork stoppers from eBay, which should fit if I’ve measured correctly, to try to extend their life.

My husband uses these when he goes fishing. They are a perfect shape and size. The only reason for 4 stars is the lid, which needs a bit of care to fit properly and cannot go in the dishwasher.

This is similar to what my daughter asked for on her Christmas list.She's gong to love it.

I have been using this size bottle for many months now and is ideal for a reasonable size drink of whatever you choose to fill the bottle and sits comfortably in the fridge. However I have recently seen signs of wear i.e rust on the caps of these bottles and feel that an opportunity could be provided for replacement lids. If the lids continue to deteriorate I feel that in these times I'm not happy to use them but the bottle are entirely reusable so new caps would be extremely useful. I have given 4 stars because the caps are not as useful as the bottles

I use this for keeping milk separate when making a flask of tea or coffee. Where other containers are too small or leak, this one is perfect.
