One hand and a few squeezes – that’s all you need to open a can thanks to this patented new opener from Chef’n. Just clip it on then, as you squeeze, the ratcheted handle moves the stainless steel blade around the lid, while the magnetic tip lifts the lid cleanly away afterwards.

Having struggled to find a can opener that works just recently, I had a very pleasant surprise when this one worked perfectly the first time, (it even opens a can of tuna)!
I suffer from bad arthritis and can't use the normal key turning system, so though this would suit me perfectly. I didn't realise that the handle required constant squeezing to activate the opener and after two squeezes I was in a lot of pain. Although the cutting mechanism is fine for able bodies people, be warned that it is quite unsuitable for arthritic hands, so for me, is of no use at all. what a disappointment.
