Sage The Kitchen Wizz Pro Food Processor 3.7L BFP800UK

Product number: 17951

Safe, solid and easy to use, with 24 precisely balanced thickness settings and an extra-wide Big Mouth feed chute, the Kitchen Wizz Pro 3.7L food processor from Sage makes food prep quick and easy.

Powered by a 2000W direct-drive induction motor, and with a sturdy die cast metal build, the Kitchen Wizz Pro food processor makes light work of fruit and veg and is built to last. The extra precise thickness settings can be adjusted from a wafer-thin 0.5mm to an extra thick 8mm. Whether you’re slicing potatoes or carrots, or shredding cabbage for coleslaw, the Kitchen Wizz Pro prepares your food just how you want it. We turned a whole potato into chips quicker than we could say French fry.

Extra-Wide Chute

The extra wide, 14cm long feed chute allows you to put longer and larger food in, eliminating the need to cut it first. It is ideal for long carrots, cucumber, aubergine and courgettes, and the included accessory box of stainless steel blades and disks means prepping your food is quick and easy. The super-efficient Quad Processing Blade has four blades rather than two to get jobs done extra quickly and efficiently.

Smart Controls

The Kitchen Wizz Pro 3.7L features a handy countdown timer, so you don’t have to stand and watch it if it doing a longer task like kneading dough or mixing ingredients. Unlike other machines, the Kitchen Wizz Pro features simple one-touch controls for turning the machine on, pulsing your ingredients, which spins the blade in short, sharp bursts, and then turning the machine off.

Also included in the box are a dough blade, for bread, pizza and pasta doughs, as well as pastry bases, and a whisk. There is also a smaller 1L processing bowl, which sits inside the larger bowl and allows you to prepare smaller amounts of food and saves you from having to wash up more.

The Kitchen Wizz Pro alerts the user if it is overloaded and the motor is overheating. This protects the machine from damage, helping it live a longer life.

There is also a cleaning brush and spatula, to help you get every last bit of food out of the bowl and keeping the food processor clean.

"A really sturdy bit of kit!"

I was slightly hesitant spending such a lot on a food processor, especially since my 20 year old Magimix machine still worked reasonably well, but I am really pleased with this purchase. We like to make meals in batches so we have "ready meals" in the freezer - I think I used most of the attachments yesterday, with great success. I like to have spiralized carrot instead of spaghetti, and the julienne cutter did it in about a second! The bowl seems so much tougher than my previous machine, and I love the way it is sealed so there is no juice escaping down the spindle. Thanks Lakeland :-)

"Better than brilliant."

You can’t deny this is a pricey piece of kitchen equipment but well worth the investment. I have now had mine a couple of months and have no regrets it certainly makes preparation soo much quicker. Just one word of warning take great care with the blades as they are extremely sharp and can cut through you finger without you realising as I found out when drying them. I would definitely give this a 5 star plus rating.

"Excellent Product"

This replaced a very old and small food processor and I am pleased to find it is as robust as it looks. It is quite heavy so needs to be situated where it is easy to use. I have used it for preparation of a few meals and baking and it has performed as required for those. However, I was unable to grind linseed which I mill into flour as an ingredient in bread making; for this I still need to use a bullet blender. I was also disappointed to find there was no properly printed full instruction book or recipe book accompanying the food processor.

We spent weeks agonising whether to buy this Sage or the Magimix, to replace a cheaper Kenwood. As having a cupboardful of random attachments was a major annoyance with the Kenwood, we chose the Sage with it's attachment pod. Being able to store all the attachments in this pod elevates this processor to Excellent. Our only query is the Sage instructions say not to put ice in it (which we regularly did with the Kenwood). Doesn't say this anywhere in the spec as far as we can see. Not a major problem, but just wonder, for future reference, whether Magimix takes ice?

I absolutely love this machine. I have used it a few times now and the capabilities are limitless. It was a joy to use and saves so much time in the kitchen and I even think it makes the food I prepared taste better. Worth the money as this machine will probably last a lifetime.
