A lot of others out there on preserving so I guess nothing new but I found it gave helpful tips, and the recipe ideas are good. Says to use granulated sugar not preserving sugar, wasn't sure but it worked fine. Made mixed berry jam, it's great! Looking at one for peach, raspberry and champagne, yum, also spiced plum and port. Good section on chutneys and relishes, looking at giving mango chutney a go. I do have a life but this preserving bug has bitten I think! Give it a go!
"Great for a Beginner Like Me" star star star star star_border I'm a total beginner in making jam so this is ideal for me, it explains every detail which I need at the moment. If you're a regular jam maker this might be a bit too basic.
"Preserving" star star star star star_border Some lovely recipes with easy to follow instructions for making homemade jams.
"Recommended" star star star star star_border This is a great book some lovely new recipes not found in other books. Introductory pages are very helpful. The only negative is that there is no guidance on shelf life or refrigerator life once opened of most of the preserve recipes. Otherwise a great buy!
