"Just the job!" star star star star star This small bread maker is just what I wanted. Doesn’t take up too much space, and makes small loaves of great bread. I’m trying to gradually reduce salt (blood pressure) without compromising bread quality. So far so good. The hook for extracting paddle is a great idea! Markings on plastic cup could be more visible - otherwise it’s ideal.
"Fresh bread great" star star star star star I bought this on a whim as I had discount voucher. Glad I did so far. Have made wholemeal bread which was a bit dense but tasted fine if a little salty but believe the saltiness has been covered. Next time I will use less salt and some white flour with my wholemeal. I have also made dough and turned it into pizza and a couple of loaves made with mixes which have come out perfect, a bit difficult to remove from the tin even though I sprayed the tin with oil first. Anyone know why this is ? I had no trouble with the loaf I made from scratch.
"Disappointing" star star star star_border star_border After first very unsuccessful attempt with a packet bread mix I purchased bread flour and yeast and tried again. I’ve followed instructions to the letter twice now but the results are still not as good as my ancient full size machine. Neither formed any sort of crust on top and were pale and uninteresting. Sides were browned adequately. Also surprised to find it took just as long to bake a 1lb loaf as it does full size one so two loaves a week costs twice as much to cook! Sadly, this machine is not at all as expected and therefore unsuitable for me. support_agent A note from the team Thank you for your review. We're sorry to hear of your disappointment. Bread mix packets are one size, and although are perfect to use in bread makers, they do need adapting to the bread maker size you have. If you're not fully satisfied, you can return it under our three year guarantee for a refund.
"Great little bread maker" star star star star star I love this! I live in a small house with a small kitchen so space is at a premium! I’ve been wanting to make my own bread for a while and had been looking for a compact bread maker to save time. I’ve made mostly wholemeal bread so far and it’s delicious. I’ve used the recipes from the booklet that comes with the maker and the only thing I change is I add just one teaspoon of salt mixed into the flour rather than before adding the flour. Sometimes the mixing paddle gets a little stuck but it’s easy to remove from the base of the loaf. Highly recommend, especially if low on space!
"Lovely bread" star star star star star_border I have made wholewheat bread a couple of times and the first was very salty. Phoned and well informed person told me recipes had been rewritten and are all online. The salt had been reduced. Second loaf is fine, but I would really like to know why on half of the top is lower and uneven that the rest, when all the ingredients are put in the correct order and the machine mixes them all up?
