"Useless" star star_border star_border star_border star_border I bought the whole set of these tins to make a wedding cake. I thought they would be a good investment. I was very wrong. The bottoms are impossible to get out, even if they don’t have a cake in. They often get completely stuck at an angle. Have had 2 replaced but the replacements were exactly the same. Don’t have my receipt, so I feel very disappointed to be stuck with them support_agent A note from the team We’re very sorry to hear it didn't meet your expectations. If you are able to find a proof of purchase , then you can simply return it to the store and they will be happy to help you. Apologies for the disappointment caused.
"My best cake tin" star star star star star I had to replace my loose based tins, as they had started leaking, so was pleased that this tin guaranteed no leaks. I made amadeira cake, and it did what it said. It is a totally snug fit which gave me full confidence to use. The tin is high quality, and I would recommend it.
"Best cake tin I have owned" star star star star star I am always a bit saddened to read this bad reviews of my loved cake tins. The are really the best I have ever owned. They bake evenly and thanks to "the push" cakes release easily. Only never forget lightly oiling the seal before storing the cake tin and it is a good idea to line the bottom with baking paper.
"Wouldn’t recommend" star star star_border star_border star_border I have generally found this tin fine to use. But after about 20 uses, the rubber seal has broken so it is no longer usable. Disappointing support_agent A note from the team Thank you for your review. We’re sorry to hear this happened. You can return the cake tin to any of our Lakeland stores and they’ll be happy to help. Please do take along your receipt.
"Very disappointed" star star_border star_border star_border star_border Purchased one of these tins on recommendation from staff member in store. Read the instructions on the packaging and then baked a sponge cake ready for my husbands birthday, but when I tried to take the cake out of the tin it just ripped the sides of the cake to shreds, it wasn't as non-stick as it is claimed to be. Very disappointed and won't be purchasing any more. support_agent A note from the team We're sorry to hear this pan hasn't worked well for you. Although it isn't necessary to line the pans we'd suggest on first use to grease well with either unsalted butter, lard or margarine. We'd also advise to allow the cake to cool completely so it shrinks from the sides. As the pans are metal utensil friendly you can carefully run a knife a knife between the cake and pan wall before pushing out the cake.
