What are Poachets?
If you like your eggs poached in water but find your efforts are unpredictable, then give Poachets a go. A brilliantly simple invention from the UK, they’re made from tea bag-like paper and keep the egg white contained, so you don’t get all the stringy bits, but allow contact with water for proper poaching.
How to Use Poachets
Easy to use, simply place the poaching pouch open in a cup and crack in an egg; lift out, pulling the top together, hold for a second in a pan of water that’s at a rolling boil, then place it in... The pouch magically closes, and after 6 minutes, your egg will be cooked to perfection.

If I had seen these in any other shop,I would not have believed, but I knew Lakeland would have tested this product before making a claim like this. This is a fantastic idea, clean and simple to use. When using I put the pod into a cup then simple pop into the simmering water for 5 minutes (I find that the 6 minutes recommended is too long for a runny yoke). When you want to do more than one just repeat the procedure and stack in the pan, remembering to remove the bottom one first and then they are all ready at the same time. Ideal for those that are not too sure how to poach an egg ;0)
I could never make a good poached egg until I used these poachets. Easy to use. I am ordering more for a friend.
These are such a brilliant idea, and so perfect, I LOVE poached eggs and Poachets have transformed them into an easy dish that anyone can make. We don't make eggs any other way now. I buy 3 Packs every time I visit Lakeland!
