Stovetop Coffee Percolator

I'm on my 3rd Lakeland percolator . They wear out with daily use. Best coffee I've tasted(my own). But takes a little longer than a caffitiere. You want it hot? Percolator is the way to go. Fuller flavour that you can reheat the same day and tastes as good. Sorry about these other reviews. Go instant if you want it here and now and if you can't clean the inside by running it under a tap then save me, you are living with 1st world problems. They last about 2 years. I percolate cos I have the time and I love coffee.

This coffee percolator reminds me of the one my mum would use years ago. So with one brew so far and I am hoping that the stainless steel will stay as bright and shiny with care as it is now. I have a flame stove so was careful not to turn the flame up, hate stewed coffee.... It brewed faster than I thought it would on a low flame, the coffee was smooth, no scum on top like some percolators. The coffee was great, hot and lovely direct from the pot. Happy that I paid attention to the reviews. I can see why people are happy. I wish it many happy brews in my kitchen. Really delighted with it.

After using a stove top coffee percolator for years which I bought in Canada it finally gave up. So I was delighted to find this one in Lakeland and it is even better than the one I had from Canada. My only problem is it leaks from the black ring on the lid but it leaks back into the spout so no big deal. But I was gutted to find out that you are discontinuing these percolators. It keeps the coffee nice and hot (just as we like it). It is so easy to clean to, we recycle the grinds in the compost bin and wash with warm soapy water, rinse and we are ready to go again.

Best coffee I have tasted for years. This percolator is wonderful. Wish they made a smaller version for just 2 cups I'd buy one of those as well.

I have tried a number of coffee makers recently including a very expensive electric percolator from a top brand. This beats the lot. Very easy to use, easy to clean, and best of all makes absolutely lovely coffee.
