Lakeland Bean Slicer

Very very disappointed with this purchase. Firstly, it doesn't do the job at all and secondly, it is totally over priced. It has shaken my faith in online shopping as I wouldn't have paid over £4 for it in a shop. I am stuck with it now, as I can't return it out of the packaging.

I previously had a Krisk slicer but have mislaid it. I intended to replace it with the same but saw this one and decided to give it a go. Big mistake, the bean goes about 2cm through then gets stuck, every time! I thought perhaps it was me, so asked my sister to try it, same result! She said 'it's useless, take it back" If I could give it zero stars, I would!

Recently bought a bean slicer, but it was useless. Then bought this green bean slicer from Lakeland, which turned out to be brilliant. Slices beans extremely well, and wish we had bought this one in the first place!!

I bought this product last year and could not get it to work. I thought maybe the beans were old and tough or something. Got it out again this year and same result. Beans just don't go through. This is the only product I have ever bought from Lakeland that is not brilliant.

What a disappointment. My previous slice which was bought from a supermarket was not slicing well so I purchased what I thought would be a good one. How wrong I was, my old one was better than the new one. Beans broke when you tried to pull them through and if there was a slight bend in the bean it didn't stand a chance. Very disappointing.
