Kuhn Rikon Cookie & Cupcake Decorating Set

Bought this set earlier from the Solihull branch. Works brilliantly. Filling is a bit messy. Got around this by using disposable piping bags - I suppose a small funnel would also work just as well. Otherwise, the outside of the bottle can be rinsed once filled - there's a lid that stops any water entering. My only complaint is that the concertina bottles were easily stained by the colouring in the icing. No amount of soaking has got it off, but it's purely cosmetic. The tall bottles don't have this problem as they seem to be made from something different. Highly recommended!

I have used this now for a while, though it isn't easy to fill or clean, the results are great, I love the concertina bottles so easy to use. I have now brought extra nozzles and the bottle with two sides for one nozzle can't wait to see the result. I highly recommend this product, don't make product to dry as this can be hard to squeeze but enough to hold shape.

Bought this set as a beginner to start icing cupcakes however it is incredibly fiddly to get buttercream into the bottles. Once you do get some in there I found that the lids popped off or the bottles didn't fill correctly and you had air pockets which resulted in icing splodging over the cake! I found them quite fiddly to clean too. All in all a disappointing purchase and I am no further forward with icing cupcakes.

I bought this set at the weekend, its great fun to use, very easy to use and I had no problems with it, I cant see why other people have had trouble with the set. The tops didnt come off and it was very easy to clean. My cup cakes look fabulous and I cant wait to eat them. Great invention.

After buying many things both online and at our new store in Belfast, I find myself being very disappointed with this item. As others have mentioned a real PAIN to fill the actual bottles. Then once you have gotten through that minefield and finally start to ice, you squeeze gently for the top to fly off and leave you with a large globule of icing either ruining what work you have already done or totally burying your cupcake.Definitely not an item I would buy again nor would I recommend it :(
