Lakeland Large Grill Pan

I bought this grill pan as my fairly new oven has a pan but no grill rack with it expecting me to use the oven shelf as a rack. This pan has made a lot less work for me and was a simple answer to my problem and it worked. I would have liked the pan to be a little wider (in width not in length) but as there is mostly just my husband and myself it is fine for us. The removable handle is great because I cannot use the grill unless the oven door is shut.

Great quality grill pan but I wouldn’t call it large! It looks good and is really easy to clean. It is just a little too narrow for my oven but that isn’t a problem as I sit it on a shelf. The handle is secure if you seat it properly as per instructions. I’ve used it several times now and I would recommend it.

The rack on my previous one went rusty and was unusable after about 3 years but because I did not have the receipt Lakeland could not do anything about it. It needs to be washed and dried thoroughly after every use and I don’t think it is suitable to put in a dishwasher. I am hoping this one lasts longer.

Excellent utensil especially for a one or two person household where the grill pan supplied with the oven is larger than required. This is my second pan. The original grid deteriorated and Lakeland do not offer a replacement so I was obliged to buy the whole product even though all I needed was the grid. Maybe something that should be considered for the future - Lakeland??
