We've had so much demand for the return of bread improvers, we couldn't possibly leave them out of our catalogue! A couple of teaspoons of this organic Claybrooke Mill Dough Improver is all that's needed to magically transform home-baked bread.

If you've been turning out wholegrain loaves that are as heavy as a brick, dough improver is the answer! It gives a lighter loaf with a better texture and crust, and makes bread more consistent with fewer air pockets. Transforms wholewheat and rye mixes, or recipes that call for heavy ingredients like fruit or cheese.

Suitable for use in a machine or when baking by hand.

Excellent product. My bread was too dense and this has dramatically improved the texture. use it every time

A friend introduced me to this as my wholemeal bread didn't rise well and was heavy. Since using this it has made such a difference. Now the bread rises well and is light.

This is an excellent product and makes the world of difference to seed and grain loaves, making them much lighter in texture. My only complaint is that it doesn't appear to have a very long shelf life - not sure if this is the norm or Lakeland are sending out product that doesn't have a long use-by date. Fortunately, we make about 4 loaves of bread a week but even then we can't use the whole container before it is past it's BB date.
